postcard, exterior view, Northern Avenue. Front side shows Northern Avenue with several horses and buggies lined up on either side of street, one man walking in middle of street, one buggy driving down middle of street. Buildings on either side of street. Along top of postcard is printed, "Northern Avenue, Pueblo's Large Suberb."Writing on the backside handwritten in pencil: "Pueblo 8/20 Dear Irene: Here at last. Had fine trip thru [sic] Naus. It is cold here people have overcoats on tonight. was out to Lake Minnequa Fine place & this is fine city. Good bye until Denver where we laut tomorrow Paul". Addressed to Miss Irene Hights 2631 Charles St Omaha Neb. Name has been erased. Postmarked August 2, 1906 from Pueblo. 3.5 x 5.5 |
